The client approached us during the pre-winter rush when the oil pricing market was experiencing high volatility. They wanted to produce an an alternative heating fuel site to fill a specific niche and do so quickly. RIOC wanted to sell their brand of discount oil services to the Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts market, and they wanted customers to be able to sign up and pay for an oil delivery, NOW! Working closely with the client to get the site live and with little or no traditional advertising (per se) the RIOC sold more oil than expected during the 2009-10 season and now has over 400 members, as they engage the upcoming 2010-11 winter heating oil season.
